I hate PETA. not because i dont like the hippie weirdos normaly associated with them or because i dislike animals. I loathe PETA for there tactics. All day long all i read about, hear and see while i watch TV, and listen to the radio is Micheal Vick. M.V. is a moron plain and simple. A true idiot in no uncertain terms, and we will probably hear about him again in 20 years when someone writes a story about the ex athlete who died from a drug overdose on some street corner homeless.... Wonderful! What does this have to do with PETA you ask? Well not only peta but all of the high visability animal "actavists".
They are all protesting a man who got caught doing something that is already illeagal. There should be nothing to protest. yes dog fighting is one of the lowest forms of human behavior known to man, but as far as anyone is concerned it is illeagal. He got caught and will do time.
I was watching TV while i was eating breakfat this morning, the Spike network. If you are not in the US (i don't know if it is broadcast in any other country) Spike is toughted as the mans network. it's ussually pretty entertaining. However they are running a program this weekend, a fishing contest, with hundreds of contestants to see who can catch the largest SHARK.
I finaly get to my point. Anamal actavists go after vick and the likes but forget about the non fuzzy animals like sharks. There are no laws governing the slaughter of sharks; an ENDANGERED SPEICES. Why hasn't anyone come forward to champion these animals? These people are all over the high profile look at me i care cases. Forget everything else though. This is why i can't stand these people, because the only cause they truely care about is themselves.
